On my Garmin Forerunner 965, the Pulse Ox feature doesn’t work when set to “During Sleep.” Every morning it shows no Pulse Ox data and tells me to enable Pulse Ox During Sleep, even though it was already enabled. The feature only works if I set Pulse Ox to “All Day,” which drains the battery much faster. Because of this, I also get no Respiration Variability data unless Pulse Ox is enabled all the time.
I’ve tried everything: updating the watch and the app, restarting, factory resetting, and performing a hard reset (as suggested by Garmin Support through chat). Nothing has worked. They escalated the case to their central support team, but I’m still waiting and the problem continues.
Does anyone know a solution? Is this a defect in my unit? I’ve had the watch for 6 months, and the issue has been present since day one, waiting for an answer. The watch is updated with the last firmware, released few days ago.
