Forerunner 965 Screen Turns Black During Run Mode – Anyone Else Facing This?

Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed that my Forerunner 965 occasionally shows a completely black screen while in run mode. The watch continues to track activity in the background, but the display stays dark until I reset it or connect it to the charger.

I’ve already checked brightness, power mode, and firmware updates — everything seems fine. Could this be a temporary glitch or a display calibration issue?

I did encounter something like this last week (FW 25.04), but in my case I tried these:

1. gesture - no response

2. touch the screen - no response (I think it's OK as touch is supposed to be disabled for activities)

3. up/down button press - this worked

I get it when using something like intervals and the countdown to the next set is about to begin. You used to get the blue countdown indicator around the watch face and a count down in seconds.

Now when the countdown is just about to begin you get the black watch face and gesture doesn't work until the set actually had begun.

This only started to happen in one of that last 2 updates I think.
