My setup is FR965 + HRM-PRO + Stryd
With the HRM-PRO that I get mainly for GCT balance, I noticed that the GCT balance is only working intermittently, it will show up on some activities, but most of the times it will not show.
After some testing, I found in the FR965's setting, Under Sensors & Accessories, Stryd has 4 entries:
1. shoe icon with Stryd's ID (FP),
2. lightening icon with name StrydX (PWR),
3. lightening icon with ID (PWR),
4. running figure icon (RD)
I manually turned 1,3,4 off, and now I can consistently get GCT balance showing on a few activities in a row without missing. While Garmin is still getting power and other figures from Stryd (showing up in Garmin connect)
My theory is Stryd maybe competing with HRM-PRO as the provider of GCT balance, but in fact Stryd (as I only have one of them) does not provide it, so that's why GCT balance is empty, but when I turn them off manually, HRM-PRO gets the spot all the time so now GCT balance is showing.
Thoughts? Any other members here have the same issue?
