Wifi connection fails

Hi, 

i am using die PlayRun-App vom connect iq to sync my Podcasts. It worked really well. But since a few weeks I got issues. 

When I start syncing, the watch tries to connect via wifi, but then appears the message "Übertragung fehlgeschlagen". I think "transfer failed" is the right translation. A restart of the watch helps to sync one time. But next time it's the same problem again. 

Has anyone a solution for me?

    We have seen where sometimes that can be a concern with the router you have not meeting our requirements. Of course we have some other troubleshooting tips here: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi on a Fitness Device

    Most importantly though, it is the requirements:

    • Supported Frequency: 2.4 GHz only

    • Supported Protocols: 802.11 ac, b, g or n (802.1x is not supported) 

    • Supported Channels: Channels 1-11 only

    • Security: Unencrypted,  WPA, and WPA2

    • Passwords for encrypted networks must meet an 8 character minimum in length

    • Networks with a hidden SSID are not supported

    Make sure your router meets all of those, "transfer failed" messages can come from the security point or channels! If those are all set appropriately, I would be happy to follow up with you on email if I have permission from you?
