Trading 965 to the 970

Hi, is it possible to send the forerunner 965 in great shape to Garmin to get some discount if buying the new 970?

Look for what if you have some experience already with this trade-in thing.

No, but it would actually be nice if they offered trade-ins.

Maybe garmin should just let us ‘lease’ the watches for 2 years… like car dealers do.

If they did do trade-in, I believe the discount wouldn't be as much as selling the watch yourself and using that money to go towards buying the 970.
