Auto sync over wifi not working

Haha yeah I was gonna say that wi-fi syncing already takes 10 seconds so syncing every 10 seconds would be aggressive. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Once every hour would probably be negligible, but then again it might not be fast enough for most people.

I haven't measured it, but I def noticed that the watch battery drains faster with bluetooth enabled if I leave it on when I go for a run. (That's usually when I pay the most attention to my watch's battery life.)

I haven't really looked into the battery impact on the phone.

I don't use smartphone features (i.e. notifications), so I don't really have any need to keep bluetooth on all the time. I just turn it on if I want to sync without wi-fi or to use certain features which require it (like changing CIQ app settings or using features that need internet, like selecting content to sync in Spotify).

You could use a CIQ app to track battery life on your Garmin device:
