Garmin Coach Plan Changes Day Of

I'm using a Garmin Coach Plan for my next marathon. It is incredibly frustrating that the plan will take my workout away literally as I start my workout. Example: Today I had a 59 minute run scheduled. I woke up and it was still there on the app. 90 minutes after waking up I check the app again and the run is still there. I go out my door to start the run and my watch says "Rest Day." I check the app again and it now says "rest day." I plan around these and it isn't very good that your plan changes the morning of. Do better, Garmin.

Had exactly the same thing few days ago. In my case it was a simple base training, so no structure to remember - I did it anyway and remaining week recalculated nicely, but it was annoying

Agreed. It used to be very annoying, so created a bunch of workouts similiar to what than plan recommends. If it does a switcheroo on me last sec, I go to one of my saved workouts and run that. Not always identical, but close enough.

The same. Even for Edge 1050. Looks like connecting to different servers with lagging replication.

Now synced via express and looks the same in Edge, FR and Connect Web/Android

Same thing happened to me today on my 965 with my daily suggested run. It was “threshold run” when I checked in the morning but I decided to do the run after lunch. When I got ready to start the run, the suggestion had changed to “rest day”. My watch is software version 23.20

The same for me. FR965 shows correct activity but Edge 1050 shows rest day for the whole week.

Now installed last patch and edge gets synchronized so that correct training plan is shown.

Today have got rest day on Edge 1050. Run sync on mobile phone in connect. Still having rest day on Edge. Running sync and install on PC using Garmin Express and Garmin Coach Plan synced with Edge. Why not syncing via phone or Wi-Fi?
