Not sure if this helps, but I’ve switched to doing a Garmin coach strength plan, and using the daily suggested workouts for running. So far it’s been a good combination, for me.
That's a good idea! Does it seem like they inform each other, e.g., strength workout days don't overlap with hard running days?
Good question. I’m not sure how it all works. But yesterday I did my strength workout and the DSW and it was perfect. Today, DSW is a long slow base run. Tomorrow is a recovery run.
Update: I just went to do my DSW and it had changed between last night and this morning to a recovery workout. So yeah, pretty sure that’s taking into account training effect/load/etc.
