longest run notification

Hi

i have a forerunner 965 and after each i m getting these "longet/fastest 5k/10k run notifications" systematically which is completely wrong - I never had that issue before with my 645 and i keep getting it every single time - i have already connected to garmin connect and accepted all my PRs . this looks like a bug - can you please comment if this will be fixed and when?

  • I'm seeing this bug as well. Really irritating as Garmin has 20+ years of my running history so well knows what my longest and fastest records are!

  • I'm also seeing this. I also see "fastest 5k" or 10k, etc after every run.

  • I had this too. If your problem is the same then the trick is to accept it as a record. However in order to do that you need to have the distance added to your list. I don't know why Garmin does it like that. And of course this for sure is a bug, but I don't believe they'll ever fix.

Go to Personal Records in the Connect Website: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/personal-records

Then click on Running tab, then Customize List, then add all the distances (I also added all the other things in the other tabs)

    Then click send to Device.

Then after syncing you should be able to accept the PB from Garmin Connect phone app, and it shouldn't alert you every time again (until it'll really be a new PB)
