dear all, when will Garmin start to sell Forerrunner 975 in Europe ?

I'm interested in purchasing a smartwatch with basic functions such as fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, GPS (excellent for navigation during hiking using maps), water resistance, and robustness (Gorilla Glass is acceptable). I need it mainly as a backup for hiking if my Oregon 600 series fails. Since Garmin hasn't released the Oregon 800 series for years, I'm considering a smartwatch with a  display 1.4-inch screen, 1.85-inch (47 mm) watch size, and lightweight under 70 grams. Besides the Forerunner 965 and Enduro 3, I don't see any other options. I don't want to spend €900 on a smartwatch for my needs. I'm waiting for the Forerunner 975 series, hoping for some improvements like an LED light. Do you know when it will be released?

Based on the latest information, the Garmin Forerunner 975 is expected to launch in early to mid-2025

    Yeah, a nice feature summary below, and I don’t crave any of them. If only there could have been a black one with steel bezel and buttons… Maybe there will be a 975 with more options?

    Edit: buy maybe, do one dare to dream that them new running metrics will get to the 965? I guess not? But on the other hand that would generate more potential buyers for the new strap…

    I think exactly like you, today in my opinion the Enduro is the only watch left for pure sportsmen, without useless smart functions, great battery life and robust, the Forerunners are becoming copies of the Apple Watch even in terms of colors, the only problem is that the Enduro only has a size of 51 mm and for small wrists like mine it is too bulky and I will continue as long as I can with my FR955 solar, which I am very satisfied with, in my opinion the last true Forerunner not distorted by fashion.
