I am training for my first marathon which is on May 18, so 12 weeks left. Started around the new year. Not using Garmin coach (Greg or others - Greg is great btw, did 5K and half with him). At this time I just have put that marathon in calendar with a target goal and using "regular" training suggestions. Since its like two months in, I was already in build phase with weekend long runs around 90 minutes and increasing etc.
And now after 22.22 update, it was gone from the watch, showed "no events" and therefore no suggestions. Needless to say, in the Garmin Connect (GC) its still there, untouched. Tried to sync and reboot the watch several times to no avail. Then I went to the event in GC and pressed "send to device". After sync, its now back on my watch, BUT! The plan has been reset and I have been put in the beginning of the base phase with long runs in 60 mins and all that, it just become more "compressed", so to say. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any way I can force it to advance to build phase? Beginning of it would be fine at this stage.
This is not exactly a very big deal as I have successfully completed some training plans and know how to train, plus there are a ton of great training plans out there but having a suggestion in my watch that is offering me the right thing is convenient. Now I will just have to ignore those.
And - I will reject any updates till the end of May.
