I'm experiencing the same thing. My apartment has been raised by 40 meters since yesterday, even though the local weather station is reporting no change in air pressure.
My usual running route has about 55 meters of elevation gain, but today it was 110 meters :-(
Mine goes up and down all day, locks on 150m too high over night when I don't wear it, and plunges 100s of feet as soon as I pick it up. It's been like this since day one, never accurate, I always end…

Here the last 12 hours correctly show 23m (I'm at home) even though there's changing weather and ambient pressure was falling
Another update: after sync the workout give an 137 mts of elevation gain. On Strava just 26 mts. In house, normally it's a 15 mts. Today is at 30 mts.

It is the same for me. I'm on a Forerunner 965. In the last 4 hours, the reported height was between 201m and 49m, although I didn't move out of house. Any solution yet?
Im at 15 meters. After a run on sea level, on the watch indicates -15 meters...
