bug: ... backup is unavailable. Manage your ... in Garmin Explore app.

I wanted to make a fill backup (triggered by another bug: forums.garmin.com/.../ ) so I went to the Menu > System > Backup & Restore > Backup Contents and wanted to enable all options:

But both Courses and Saved locations is "unavailable". So why do you have a setting for them in the watch menu?????????????

Interesting , Mine are all "on" and can be toggled. I'm on 22.18

Sorry, you're totally right. Not only Garmin has an app called almost like another of their own apps, both are not really needed (at least they shouldn't be if Garmin Connect would work...)

Mine are all off: I guess it's because I created them in Garmin Explore in the first place, then copied them to the watch.

I'm totally confused by this "error message". I had Garmin Explore in the past, but removed it after a while 'cause I haven't found out what's it's purpose. Maybe this is because I don't use maps? Anyway, I do have some courses, so I would think that backing them up makes sense. So do I need Garmin Explore as well? The only thing it made in the past was causing android send me push notifications about it using too much battery (that's why I removed)

Garmin was able to reproduce and they opened an internal ticket to investigate this.
