Forerunner 965 Calendar Syncing Issues

My forerunner 965 will not sync. Anything that is on my training calendar does not show up on the calendar widget on the watch, nor is it prompted when I go to begin an activity (like it usually does when you have an activity listed on your calendar for the specific day). 

I have restarted the watch multiple times, restarted my phone, redownloaded the garmin app, and nothing has worked.

    Thats odd.

    If you create one new one and add to calendar does it work at all?

    I am not sure how far ahead yours are (or how many) but it can only show 14 days ahead of items if I recall.

    I quick tried to create one for the 20th in mine and it worked fine. Of course one doesn't see in calendar as its to far ahead but I can see it under RUN > Training> Training calendar

    I've had situation before where I have to move the items in calendar to another date and back to get them to show. (I think after some update)

    So I tried the last thing you said because I too, also have had to do that before. The only way I can get any of the workouts that I programmed to sync to the watch are if I go in manually on the app & input them on the calendar BUT it only works for the DAY OF the specific activity. Garmin has some of the most incredible technology on the planet, and yet there are so many basic software issues with their app it blows my mind sometimes.

    How do you mean ‘only works for the day of the activity’?

    You can generally find a list of workouts you have sent to the device under the workouts app. Select from there then start the activity you want.
