komoot App Touchscreen enable

After updating the SW to new 21.20 version to fix the permanent touchscreen enable issue, it still happens when the komoot app is used f.e. for hiking. It can‘t be deactivated.

Have you contacted the maker of the app, i.e. Komoot? Have they indicated that the problem is Garmin's fault?

I have this same issue in other applications. This is definitely a garmin bug.

As a CIQ developer I can say that it's not well thought by Garmin. There's no easy way to disable touch in an app. But there are ways you can achieve it. I had the same problem in one of my apps and I could make it work by disregarding taps, swipes, drags.

Komoot probably could do something similar.
