Forerunner 965 - Blue Traingle, FR 965 Graphic, crashes and repeats

Hey everyone,

I've just got a FR965, updated it, it was all running smoothly.

However, now it's just stuck on the sequence in the title.

- Blue triangle

- Forerunner 965 graphic

- Black screnn

- Blue triangle

- Forerunner 965 graphic

- Black screen

- repeat, repeat, repeat!!!

I've tried plugging it in to Garmin Express and synicing it, still the same problem.

I've tried holding the power button for 30 seconds, it just turns the watch off and doesn't restart.

Has anybody experienced this at all?

I can't even do a hard reset because I cant get in to the settings on the watch.

Is there anyway I can do a hard reset from the Connect app or Garmin Express?

No need to go to settings.

When the watch is off, do the following unprompted reset :

Unprompted Reset

This reset will clear all settings, user profile, records, activity history, Connect IQ content, and other data.

It is recommended to read the steps in full below before performing them.

Ensure the watch is powered off.
- You may need to hold LIGHT for up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off.
Press and hold BACK and START/STOP.
Press LIGHT to power the watch on while holding these two buttons.
After the first beep release START/STOP.
After the second beep release the remaining buttons.

The reset is successful if the watch finishes powering up and goes through initial setup. Try the steps again if initial setup does not appear. Following the reset, place the watch outside with a clear view of the sky for a minimum of 20 minutes to acquire satellite data.
