Autozoom stil doesn’t work

I used navigation this morning on a 25k run and the map never ever zoomed in or out. Auto zoom just doesn’t work. For almost 2 years now.

 you claim it should work (although no release note ever mentioned a fix for autozoom) and I should contact garmin support when it still doesn’t work. Well, autozoom doesn’t work and I contact you.

My watch is on the latest firmware (although, if I check for updates my watch tells me it downloads something, but after that nothing. I can repeat that infinite. But that’s an other bug garmin hasn’t fixed)

I even turned on the irritating tbt notifications with the forced voice, (the one that garmin knows it annoys it’s users, but couldn’t be bothered to fix) so I know when my watch is supposed to zoom.

(an other irritating bug: for the first 10k the tbt natifications are before a turn, up to 15k they are in the turn, after 15k you get the notifications after the turn. It seems garmin don’t test their half baked firmware in real life, if they test at all)

And before you start the irritating ‘can you send a video’, you claim it should work so you first provide a video of a working autozoom. I can assure you, you cannot.

    i think autozoom never, ever worked properly on any Garmin device. You better give up.

    I’m an endurance runner, I never give up ;)

    And autozoom worked quite well on the breadcrumb navigation on my old 935. The 965 really is a step backwards compared to that watch.

    But don’t worry, my #1 requirement for sport gadgets is ‘not a garmin’ since I experienced the full scale of garmins half baked software with my 965. My bike is already 100% garmin free and I’m very happy with that. My watch will follow somewhere next year.
