watch face crash

why everyday my watch face crash ? everything free or paid outside of stocks watch faces... crushing. the developers saying the problem is from Garmin, the Garmin said the problem is from developer's, but who pay the consequences? it's me, not see my money anymore, waste of time.

this is a garmin issue others have reported it as well. It has to do with a firmware update.

What firmware version are you on? When did it start? How often it crashes? Does it also happen if you download a watchface from the store that is made by Garmin?

I'm on 20.32 version.

about 3 weeks ago start the crash.

everyday later afternoon crash.if I use a Garmin watch face, not crash, only crash with 3 party watch faces.

Even if you download something from Garmin (not built-in watchface), i.e: https://apps.garmin.com/apps/54f641b0-2e87-4f0d-b458-26a2547376b5 ?

crash the same, everything outside Garmin have a time on the day( normally on afternoon ..) crash.

I just contact, Garmin no solve anything thirty party related,, the best way ( because I contacted the devs about 2 weeks ago) is remove the watch face and put a negative review, no deserving better.during 2 weeks ignoring my complaints...my answer come in form of review.

So you haven't tried if a Garmin made downloaded CIQ watchface crashes or not? Have you used the Contact developer button to contact the Garmin developer of the downloaded watchface?

when I contact the devs is from the watch face page in Garmin store. The Garmin watch faces not crash, because that the Garmin tell me cannot help me

I either don't understand you or I don't understand why you do what you do.

Either you tell the non-Garmin watchface developers to report their problem here: https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/f/discussion or here: https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/i/bug-reports

Or you report the crash in the Garmin Customer Support for fr965: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?contactOverride=true&productID=886725&tab=topics (here I would guess you'll get the "we don't know" / "we don't care" answer, they usually don't know what to do when they hear CIQ)

You also wrote that it happens to all watchfaces that you download from the Connect IQ store, including to watchfaces made by Garmin: https://apps.garmin.com/developer/e1683f31-54fe-45d9-9aa8-cba39fe7fd1f/apps but then you wrote that it doesn't happen to those made by Garmin (and I tried to be very precise to try these from the store, not those that are built-in in the watch) so I'm confused.

Anyway, at the beginning I thought it might be some recent change in the FW, but you're on the latest* public release (I use the same version) so it's not caused by that.

*) there's a new public release being gradually released since yesterday: https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/forerunner-965/396569/forerunner-965---software-version-21-19---20-phased-rollout I think it's safe to say that Garmin would recommend you to upgrade to it, so why not? Maybe it'll fix the problem (I don't think it will, but since I don't think the problem is caused by the current version you use, it could make a difference, because it'll by the way clear caches, etc.)
