Little white dot on Garmin coach workout screen

If you do a run training with Garmin coach, there is a screen that shows your speed and time of your workout. On top there is a 3-part bar that shows if you're too slow (red), within speedrange (green) or too fast (red). In the colored zones there is (every once i a while) a little white dot.
When I'm doing the workout it's way easier for me to see the white dot, instead of reading the values and calculating if it's in line with the workout plan.
Only, the white dot is not all the time very visible (for me). It's easier to spot when in the green zone, but in the red zone it's more difficult to see. If I want to maintain my running pace, and therefore my arm movement, I'd like to immediatly spot it. Otherwise the watch is beeping because I'm not in the green zone (and it beeps a lot...).

I run in daylight and at nighttime.

My question is if the dot can be extended into the black background that's below the colored zones. More oval? This way the contrast is better, the dot will be a litte bigger and it'll be easier to spot. At least, I think so. Other solutions to improve the gui visibility are also appreciated.

That being said: I like the rest of the layout and the workout training the watch generates.
