Garmin 20.31 Varia radar fix FAIL

The 20.31 roll out of firmware does absolutely nothing to fix the radar graphical fail. It still shows no green yellow or red bars or number of vehicles. The firmware still fails miserably

Update: the colored bars appear AFTER a notification of some sort comes in and the seem to stay on longer, but they still don't work properly. Also, since a couple of versions before and now more: tons of false positives...radar beeping when nothing there.

Looks like Garmin has stopped internal testing, jumped past beta testing program, and are now doing live beta-testing, or maybe alpha, with public devices. not good

This update fixed this issue for me. I did restart the watch after the update, which I think is always a good idea after any updates.

I have been having a different problem with the RTL510. The FR965 is constantly connecting and disconnecting to the RTL510. This results in the screen being always on with the top portion of the display obscured by the messages about it connecting/disconnecting. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

If you are experiencing any further issues with the Varia radar, please either start a new thread or contact Garmin Product Support directly.
