Need wireless v28.17 issue.

Hi everyone,

I've got my 965 updated last night and today it can't connect to the phone. I tried to pair again and it show error " Need wireless v28.17 "

Saw someone said we can force reinstall SW by pressing light button 8 times at ABOUT page. I tried pressing 8 times and nothing appears.

What should I do ?

I'm on latest version v20.26

I have version 20.29 and with it wifi 28.17. Check it in your watch. If you have a different version, maybe the update did not go through completely. Maybe try the update via wired Garmin Express

You are right, the update did not go through completely, I've tried with new firmware v20.29 (copy file via PC) and it didn't work either.

End up sending back to them for replacement.
