Garmin-Jimmy please give us the same as Fenix 8, an update which fixes this battery bug. This was reported a lot of times during beta, the highest voted bug, but not even a single acknowledge from Garmin…
Have the same issue - 6% during the night. - vs 2% it was
and it came to more than 10% over the day with NO activity.
Any ideas?) (on top to factory reset)
This was a beta bug, but for me 20.26 seems to be ok. Check if garmin share is turned off, it was one of the culprits, that it was default on with the v20.x.
Settings - connections - Garmin share
Bonjour

that was the other reported bug - continued elevated power usage after workout, which stops after restart of watch. Others also reported it stopping after doing a sync with garmin connect app after workout. Worth checking. I always go through some data after workout, which may be the reason I don't experience that bug myself.
Anyway, these are firmware bugs, so can be corrected. Let's hope.
BTW, yesterday evening I have turned my watch off and then restarted it, battery consumption seems better. More tests to go, later I'll go for an outdoor run.
Mine exactly the same, needs restart after run, otherwise drain is noticeable
thanks! I will try this
Update: 1 hour running with GPS, started at 58-59%, ended 53%. Sync with Garmin connect, then turned off znd restarted. Battery at 55%...
hi, what / how / where do you check this?
