Endurance score suddenly dropped 400 points for no reason after the latest update

Looks like a bug to me. Nothing new happened in my training.

  • Same for me today. Down 600 points, despite being at peak load of my marathon training

Same here. And time by 5km oder 10km

    Any ideas to fix it?

  • Quick gave mine a look at it looks normal.  No sudden drop this week.

This feature seems to be buggy from the get go sort of, when I got my watch it gave me my highest score ever based on the 'look back' feature at your recent training, but then proceeded to drop from there during my peak marathon months! lol   9420 down to 8680 over 4 months.  My chronic & acute loads were pretty consistent those months also (besides the occasional 'step-back / recovery' week)

Are you seeing a drop of all old values or just the most recent dates?

I see the last months endurance raising. But after the Update i see a drop of about 500 points

    • In the release notes it is written that they updated the race prediction algorithm. Which makes sense to me because mine was very wrong. I guess that the endurance score calculation uses the race prediction as input. So no problem it’s updated. But I would expect them to update it 4 for like 4 last weeks so that the trend would not go down for the next 4 weeks. Now it’s not useful at all and we are at the beginning of the race season. Another not useful statistic from garmin.
  • 955 is the same. Recent firmware update to 20.26 and I see this problem. For me, however, the endurance score jumped up by 400 points and the already optimistic race prediction times decreased by a significant  amount, positioning them now firmly in the nonsense realm. Previous marathon prediction 3:01:00 and I’m maybe on 3:10 or 3:08 form, which isn’t that far off…now dropped sharply to 2:53:50 and that’s just ridiculous now. 3:01 was already a stretch of the imagination

  • For me, 700 points drop overnight (while I was sleeping last night without doing anything). Garmin is not reliable at all... what a shame, theoretically, they sell premium products at high price...
