Forerunner 965 has lost icons next to the names in glances and doesn’t highlight the selected option in any menu.

I didnt have this issue until this morning and suddenly icons are gone from some of the glances.

This has been reported quite some times, including in the recent beta: https://forums.garmin.com/beta-program/forerunner-965/forerunner-965---public-beta-bug-reports/i/public-beta-version-21-xx/21-18-ui-in-glances-is-broken-after-upgrade-the-left-icons-are-not-showing-ok but also before that with the current 20.xx version.

So far, garmin has chosen to ignore the problem.

I wouldn't be surprised if the latest software issue caused this. I was on with support for over an hour. I had to sync my device, restart, delete all prior activities, restart and then do a hard reset. I had tried all of that prior to contacting them except the hard reset. Nothing worked. Yesterday I spent hours compressing the "Garmin" folder so I could upload it to Garmin so they could review the file. After all that I beleive it's a software bug.

Hoping this will be resolved in the next update.

I ended up calling support and sent them the watches data files and information. They deemed it a hardware fault and set up a return to replace the watch, I could also not use maps. Before I got the round to returning the watch another update became available and all the icons reappeared, however my maps still did not work so the watch was replaced.
