Notification settings for text and email

Is there anyway to only receive text message notifications on the watch and not emails?

So far I've only been able to receive both or nothing. I only want to see incoming texts.

Apple restricts many functions . You can see how many more watch to phone functionality Android users have .

I have my watch set to have notification for apps to be off and notifications for text set to on. I get text notifications but no others which might be what you are looking for. I’ll also mention that I have mail notification off on my iPhone as well.
