Garmin decides to adjust my HR by itself, and when I want to go back to correct it to what's accurate, it doesn't show the option for user settings in the Web App, and doesn't allow changes in iPhone App. Worthless piece of garbage!

I assume you are talking about the Max HR auto-detection.
There is a setting under user settings > Heart Rate & Power Zones > Auto-detection to disable it although I recommend to leave it on despite the following issue.
When auto-detection is on, and a new Max HR is detected, you have to go to user settings > Heart Rate & Power Zones to reenter your custom zones or reset the zones to your liking. Several users have reported that a new Max HR auto-detection messes up the existing zones, apparently whether the zones are defined by LTHR, HRR or Max HR. This is a bug.
Thanks for the details! Yes, I turned auto-detect off. I introduced a new Edge 1050 and the user settings are no longer an option. I had to go into the settings of the old Edge 1030 to reset them manually. I do lactate threshold ramp testing on a regular basis and give those results a lot more credibility than Garmin’s calculations.
