Wrong heart rate with different activities

Forerunner 965 paired with a Wahoo TICKR Gen 2 seems to give incosistent heart rate measurements based on different activities. The screenshot below is from an outdoor cycling activity.

The same activity recoreded on a Wahoo device displays correct heart rate data.

With an outdoor running activity, the heart rate seems to be correct.

The positioning of the watch seems to be the only factor involved (while cycling the watch is in the back pocket, while running it is on the wrist). The watch is paired correclty with the heart rate monitor before starting the activity. With a Forerunner 935, this issue has never been observed.
