I previously had a Forerunner 955 and had set up my Primary Race (a 10K in early November) about six weeks ago. The watch had very nicely scheduled a base phase, build phase, peak phase and taper to line up with my race day. I had recently completed the base phase and was in the middle of the build phase. All good!
Now I just got a new Forerunner 965. While all of the data including my Primary Race has transferred over nicely, it looks like the 965 has set up a new, shorter training plan that starts today. I.e. it has compressed the schedule between now and race day, so I am back to the base phase again (which I don't want to repeat), followed by much shorter build and peak phases.
Any way to tell the new watch that I am part way through the training? Or am I stuck with using the 955 for training until the race?
