Two trainingplans?

The Garmin 965 is marketed as a watch specifically for triathletes. I am a runner and cyclist myself.
Currently, I am following a running plan from Coach Amy.
In addition, I would also like to use a plan for cycling. Is it possible to use a second plan for another sport?

  • There can be only one Garmin Coach plan active at a time.

    You have the following options:

    - ditch Garmin coach and follow daily suggested workouts. If you have a recent cycling computer, you can get a race plan for cycling with the Edge and the running plan from the watch. If you don't have a recent Edge, you can still follow the running training plan and replace some workout days by the generic cycling suggestion.

    - keep the Garmin coach and replace some workouts by the dally suggestion or by an equivalent cycling workout. This might impact the level of confidence of the Garmin Coach plan as you "skip" some workouts

    - of course, there is also the option of buyng a triathlon or duathlon training plan from a platform like TrainingPeaks.
