I just moved from Garmin Venu to Forerunner 965. When using the watch for Nordic walking activities I realised that the step count is roughly double of the actual value. This happened twice now during the last week. Although we watch detects the step frequency properly the total amount of steps is roughly double of the amount which I’m actually doing. Walking with around 110 steps per minute for around an hour should result in roughly 6000 steps but the watch counts 12,000. I never had this problem before when using the Venu 1/2/3. Seems like a bug in the software of the device. Could someone from the Garmin team please have a look into it or are there any general advises how to get around? Thanks
