Help with corrupt fit file

I did a triathlon on Saturday using auto transitions for the first time. After the race it didn't upload to Garmin. Since then I've done another activity which uploaded successfully

I tried connecting to my PC and Garmin Express, got the file and tried to manually upload, but Garmin states the file is corrupt.

I'm not sure what can be done to fix it, apart from recommendations to use the Fit File Repair Tool which I don't have access to

I haven’t used it but have heard positive things. Just save a copy of the bad file in a different location so you can always go back to that if things go wrong.
