Weather widget location doesn't update anymore

I was used to get a heat acclimatisation notifications after a run in warmer weather, somehow these notifications doesn't appear anymore.

Looking into to this I discovered that in the weather widget there is no GPS location and no locationmark, but there is weather data... 

When I force a specific location the locationmark does appear, updating the location using GPS resulting in disappearing of the locationmark. 

I looked in the settings of the app and watch, location data is enabled, I rebooted both and followed these steps without succes. https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=Mxs4eRXzRdAYJ0h7yyWaj9 

Anyone else experiencing this any ideas how to solve this?

    It stopped showing the location on the weather screen reading since 19.xx unfortunately. 

    Recently when I was in temps above 23C (I think) then It showed me the heat acclimatisation (I have a widget set up in connect for Heat and Altitude acclimatisation also)... My heat % got up to 100 and is now back down to 1 as I have been in colder climates

    I am not sure if I got a notification on watch at the time or not

    When I look at the training status widget on the watch or the widget in the connect app my heat acclimatisation is currently updating and working like it should. 

    Will test if the notification works with fixed location settings.

    Discovered that in the connect app, under settings, user settings and weather location that the settings are being used with my Edge device.. cant change this to my primary device the 965.

    Yes I can't seem to find the setting anymore either.
