is there still a difference in navigation between the 965 and the epix/fenix (double tap to zoom)

you cant double tap to zoom on the 965 etc has this been fixed ?

Sorry. No. It’s not available on the 965. No double tap zoom.

965/955 firmware has been getting closer to Epix/Fenix for navigation.

Double tap to zoom DOES now work - it was added fairly recently.

There are still differences though. For example, Fenix/Epix has a "Touch and Hold" option from which you can choose to navigate to a point. That's not in 955/965.

For me it does still not work. Double tap will bring up the crosshair and zoom options. Just as a normal tap on the map.

That is odd. I just checked again and it's still working. But note I have a 955, not a 965.

It was introduced in a firmware update a couple months ago. "Map only" option was also added for touch settings which was previously another difference between Fenix/Epx and 955/965.

Would be worth double checking you're on latest firmware (19.xx). Also look and see if you have the "Map only" touch options.

I'd be surprised if 955 and 965 behave differently but it would be good if another 965 owner could report whether double tap to zoom works for them...
