Wifi sync with wireguard VPN

I run a Wireguard VPN through my router and with the VPN disabled the 965 will wirelessly sync with no problems. Enable the VPN and the 965 says it's unable to connect to the wifi network. 

I've checked to see if any Garmin domains are being blocked due to the VPN but there's nothing coming up. 

Has anyone else had this problem?

    My suspicion is that your VPN setup on the router isn't "clean", eg there is some reason that it behaves differently with WG on rather than off.

    DHCP is on?  DNS config being passed through?

    Garmin may not work with the reduced MTU of WG.  To test, disable WG and reduce the MTU to the same that WG would use.

    Your right. Changing to openvpn and everything works as expected. 

    In future WG for streaming, openvpn for everything else Slight smile
