Hillscore calculation

The hillscore is in a widget / Glance , did you install that from the list of widgets/ glances

Same with endurance score

Its not linked to an activity

i checked connect iq for a hill score app / widget but there was no search result

Exactly . That is what I am talking about. Did you install the Glance then you will see it 

Its a Glance on the standard menu of Glances 

It is NOT an IQ item

On App : Device > Appearance > Glances  Select Hill Score (and Endurance Score) if you want that

Same on Watch 

Also then add it to the tiles on the GC App Home View Under "at a a glance"

Hi! Thank you! Both settings I had already in place according your guideline. 

In gc app (at a glance) it is mentionend that I must record outdoor activities to get a calculation. As I said I record at least 2 hiking activities per week.

Saw on Reddit (today?) another hiker post who finally fixed it by doing an outdoors run - they usually ran indoors on a threadmill. So, the outdoors activity referenced by Garmin must be one that triggers a VO2Max estimate; Run, Bike or somesuch. I am not in the loop about the current list per generation per watch.

Addendum: That VO2Max score must also be refreshed at regular intervals. Think it was once a month or so...

At least in my 965 manual it says: "Hill score ... Displays a score, graph, contributing metrics, and a short message that describes your hill climbing performance based on your recorded running activities". That sounds like it's different than endurance score: "Endurance score ... Displays a score, graph, and a short message that describes your overall endurance based on all recorded activities".
