Voice Prompts for Turns during Course Navigation - Turn Off!!

All of the sudden, my FR 965 has started giving me voice turn notifications.  I *want* the vibration prompts on my watch but I do not want the voice prompts.  The only way I have been able to disable the voice prompts is to turn off turn notifications, but that turns off the prompts coming from the watch which is not acceptable. 

Help!

    I'm not sure if I'm already added (because of earlier threads), but please count me in: You should be able to disable voice prompts and still keep vibrations etc. on the watch. And even preferably disable voice prompts separately for phone and watch+headphones (since the former is blasted from the phone's speakers to everyone around, latter only to your own ears).

    I was leading a group run last night using a route which I do almost every Tuesday and my damn phone started shouting it out at every turn and it even made no difference when I put the phone on silent and on do not disturb. I hope this has been logged as a fault rather than as a feature. It’s a fault that needs to be fixed.

    And my workaround for today is: to mute "media" sound on telephone while using Garmin nav. Not perfect but have not found better so far.

    Also happens in FR 955. Seems surprising that this is seen as anything other than a high priority bug that must be fixed as soon as possible.

    It's a big step backwards with latest firmware and for me the most annoying of the current crop of issues. In addition to the navigation voice prompts there are also PacePro voice prompts that appeared with latest F/W. There is no way to disable them.

    oh no! I use pace pro a lot too lol.

    ps - off topic - but I can't find a Garmin Clipboard section in the forums? Am I missing it?

    This  is a BUG. The way it is implement is nonsensical. I reported it in the beta cycle long ago.

    It should have Navigation as a subset under the Audio Prompts section, if  it is a feature, that would be logical.

    Its not even consistent at the moment for example the "off course" notification work as it used to with no audio.

    I think it is very annoying that you can’t turn off the audio prompts separately. Just turn it back like it was in the previous version or add an extra setting to turn on/off audio prompts. And if they add this they also should add a volume slider for all audio prompts.

    Same issue here on a Tactix 7. No way of disabling the audio navigation prompts which is extremely annoying and distracting. None of the 'workarounds' suggested are acceptable. Disabling all navigation alerts is not a fix as I rely on the visual arrow and vibration during long outings. Disabling Bluetooth is not a fix as I rely on Bluetooth for an external HR device and safety tracking software for remote outings. This is over £1000 of hardware which was working flawlessly prior to the latest auto-update, please rectify this mistake.
