So, I have been hoping that for the last 3 or so major updates this would be fixed on my 965, but it most definitely has not… in fact it has gotten worse it seems with each update.
My issue is this: I will connect my AirPods Pro 2 to my Garmin 965. I will start playing music and it will play fine. The issue occurs usually once I skip a song. If I skip a song the next song glitches out like crazy, it almost sounds like a car radio that hit a dead zone and sounds horrible and staticy. I then have to hit pause, then play and sometimes I have to do this 3 or 4 times before it plays again. Sometimes the headphones will disconnect and then I’ll have to connect again. It’s a real annoyance that the music app is essentially unusable. I’ve ended up bringing my phone a lot, which defeats the purpose of me getting this watch for music.
Is this an AirPods issue? I’ve had this happen on my Powerbeats too, but those are similar headphones since they’re both Apple ecosystem. I really don’t want to buy new headphones just for my Garmin.
in addition, why can’t I play podcasts at 1.5x speed on my watch (or faster, I listen at 2x a lot too)? Seems like a very big oversight. C’mon Garmin!
