I had a 955 which started giving issues a few weeks ago, heart rate in a run would climb slowly then stay static on a very low number then all of a sudden (usually if I paused) shoot up to a more realistic reading.
Took into Garmin and they just replaced it so i decided to upgrade, first run with the 965 has the exact same issue. Did try run with a chest strap and while seemed better, if I had to pause, heart rate would plummet by 40-50bpm in like 20 seconds.
I assume can only be a software issues (currently on 19.18, but had this problem on the 965 before the update to). My local Garmin store seems clueless on it and won't say what was wrong with the 955 I handed in and they replaced.
Any idea whats wrong/how to fix?
