spontanous switching off

Hi ,

Since a few months my Forerunner 965 switches off occasionally. I have to hold the light button and then re start it.

When it comes back on it is in a darker mode and I can't find a way to make it brighter.

This is very annoying as it is that dark that I can only see the display inside. When I;m out running in daylight, I cannot see the screen info.

Today my 965 turned off in the middle of a run. When it restarted it continued the run. There was a peak in running power in the recorded data at that point in the run data.

I have the same from time to time. Happened 2 or 3 times during biking for me.

Strange, I had just the same issue 3 days ago. Happend for the first time, I hope it was just one time issue

Happened also for me a month ago. When I restarted the clock the workout continued (got also a max power record 1 466 W ).
I had music playing through bluetooth earbuds. Did you? If I remember correctly I couldn't connect to the earbuds again. I thought maybe the battery run out of them (not sure though).

I didn't have music playing or headphones connected. My running power spiked to an absurd 1676w at the moment of reboot.
