Received an update today, release notes state

'Updates to support factory processes.'

What is this about?

Not sure. After this update, when I was going to run, the pace was a total mess! Running in 6:30min/Km but garmin was showing 1:25min/KM LOL even faster hahaha

has anybody tried to run after this update?

yes, I have done a couple of runs outside and one on the treadmill. No issues here with GPS/pace/etc like your are seeing. I would try a hard restart (upper left button for 35seconds till black), can fix a lot of issues.
