Music control no titles

Recently i don't see the artist and title in the music screen. I use it with Control phone and the music is played on the phone by Spotify.

The buttons are working and the time is also displayed correctly but the title and artist fields are either empty or they stay on a previous song.

I am using FR 965 with SW 18.23. Garmin Connect 4.77.1 on Android 14.

Restaring the watch and phone didn't solve the issue.

Is it happening only to.me or is it a general issue. Is there any known solution?

Hi Micro,

I have the same issue with my FR245M. This happened around weeks ago. I have tried reboot watch, reboot phone, update firmeware, update Connect app, sync again and whatnot. No luck.

The official fix has not been released yet. It will be a Garmin Connect Mobile update and not a watch update.

I connected my watch to my computer for charging. After disconnection it offered a SW update. I installed it. The version number is the same 18.23 as before but the music control now shows the title and the artist. I don't know if it is related or just a coincidence and just working temporarily.
Garmin-Sierra, can you comment on this?

The update was just to the time zone maps.

Since using 18.23 this is the second update which is administered, I thought the first one was for the time zones.

They issued a second time zone update recently.
