Wrong voice for announcements (male instead of female)

For about 2 weeks I have had a wrong voice for the announcement of my Garmin watch. I have always had the female voice set. About 2 weeks ago I realised that the voice is male. Probably since an update of the maps under Garmin Express)
Unfortunately, switching to the male voice and then switching back to the female voice didn't help. There is also no update under Garmin express.
Does anyone have any ideas what else I can try?

There seems to be something funny going on with voice selection now that the watch offers both female and male voices. After some fiddling, I managed to get the voice back to female-Finnish from male-Finnish by first changing the language to English, then changing the voice to female, and then changing the language back to Finnish.

So maybe first changing the language so something else, then changing the sex of the voice, and then changing the language back might help you too? (I'm not 100 % sure that was what fixed the problem for me, I tried quite a lot of variations, listening to the results in between.)

Same thing is happening to me, only the male voice prompt works even when female is selected.
