"Event day" every day and constantly "rest days" for the next two days in the suggestions

There are several threads about this ennoying bug, mostly on other models, but I have it on my 965 since weeks (after my last half marathon). Currently I am on firmware 18.23.
I added a future event, and then removed it, but nothing changed.
Someone from Garmin wrote this bug has been fixed, but it is still there.

Many people seem to suffer from this bug. As a workaround you should delete the scheduled event from your calendar in Garmin Connect. You do not need to delete the recording of the race, only the event. After syncing the DSW will work again. Enjoy!

I have done this but still get told every day is an event day and constant rest days for five days before a suggested workouts but it never gets any closer.
