Forerunner 965 connectivity problems.

Hi everyone, I have been facing several connectivity problems with my FR 965 lately. There is no connection with WIFI or neither GPS, nor I can't pair it with my mobile (Android) using the Gamin Connect (Bluetooth).
I've noticed this happened after the update to version 18.23. I've tried to reset all settings, but still facing the same problems.

Yes same issue for me, just keeps dropping the connection every few seconds. 18.23 seems to be a huge success as I experience the worst battery life ever (5 days) and are able to run 2k before it finds a GPS signal:)

Same here: Brand new FR965, updated to version 18.23, unable to pair to mobile (Android 14) via connect app (4.76). Let's hope for a solid solution.

Thanks, we know the drill. As a seasoned connect user I've tried every single troubleshooting step I know of. No success. I've contacted Garmin support NL. Update 18.23 won't be here for long I hope. Best regards from the Netherlands.

I contacted dutch garmin support for the connectivity problems I encouter. (My iPhone says my watch is connected and I receive notifications but garmin connect says there is no connection, so no sync, no weather and no agenda)

They told me to restart the app, which I did. That helps for an hour or so.

Then they told me to remove the bluetooth connection and reconnect, which I did. That helps for a day or so.

Then they told me to factory reset my watch.

What? If a factory reset is needed to keep things working, that only means there are errors in the garmin firmware.

Is garmin finally prepared to look into the many bugs in their firmware?

Yesterday, I was in contact with the technical support by chat, and nothing worked until now.

It was reported to the Engineering team. I am waiting for their feedback.

Is there any update to this? It seems to be affecting multiple people across many devices (see this same thread on Epix/Fenix fw: https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/epix-2/364640/no-phone-notifications-with-16-22)

Happy to report that a factory reset solved all my issues. So far:)
