Today I tried to connect the fr965 (18.22) to my Mac to copy some files, but it doesn't work. I'm pretty sure the problem is in the fr965, because the same works with fenix6, fr245.
When I connect the USB cable the watch immediately displays an action menu whether to connect as MTP (media transfer) I'm pretty sure the "right" answer is yes (at least that's what I think worked in the past). When I click select then it seems that nothing happens for about 10 seconds, and then it varies. Sometimes the screen goes off (black) and it feels like it's stuck, not responding to any buttons for a while, then about half a minute later (not sure if by time out or because I long pressed the light button) it starts to "work again".
Other times 10 seconds after I choose the MTP it starts to display the battery charging abd the USB symbol (I think it is meant to show that the computer now sees the file system of the watch as USB storage. However nothing happens on the computer When I connect the fenix6 or the fr245 via the USB cable them after a few seconds I can see the Garmin device's file system in the finder window.
I restarted both the Mac and the watch, but no change.
I am starting to think that this is maybe another 18.22 bug...
