Soft Reset - No it doesn't mess with screens or anything . Many suggest to do it each time an update. ( I suppose its a bit like shutting down and restarting a computer). Often seems to fix small issues.
Hold in light button until watch turns off completely. Then restart after say 20 secs.
I saved timer and started it and it still said Timed Done at the end.
