Bug report- Display appears blank but Unit is still powered on

At random intervals the forerunner 965's screen will go black.

The watch is active but the screen will not turn on until the watch is restarted. Not sure what is the exact cause but it seems to be related to notifications or gestures.

    Agree! Something is strange with 'Swimming' the Forerunner 965 since last update.

    Follow up for anyone struggling with this issue.

    Doing a HARD reset of the device , removing it from Garmin connect and Bluetooth and re-updating it to the newest software version seems to resolve the issue.

    1.Hard reset the device.

    2.Remove it from Garmin connect and your phone's Bluetooth.

    3.Update the device to the newest software version and re-add to Garmin connect.

    The issue came back, Garmin will replace the device, if the above doesn't work for you , contact Garmin directly
