New release 18.2s with hardly any reported bug from the beta fixed.

It’s a pity. Garmin doesn’t want to improve on software quality at all.

Agreed 100%. For me the Fenix line was super solid firmware wise. The 965 is like a sking on a Java app, janky, crashes, nothing works properly, nothing feels 'native', there's so many bugs it's a wonder…

All “beta” versions are marked as release candidates. Look at the announcement of the first 18.xx version. Or the versions before that. Release candidate means garmin thinks it’s of good enough quality…

I owned the 965 and gave it back... too buggy.

I suggest all of you to give it back if possible and go for the 945. I own it since many years and it's bug free... The 945 provides the same data as the 965... of course with the old display technology, but you have peace of mind!

I am waiting for a solution for the 965 or for the 975... or a miracle... or a suntoo or a Polar...

Don't know... but until then, my 945 is doing its job perfectly.
