965 suddenly not connecting to device. Been using it since last year no issues or changes, and today it suddenly won't connect.

 Anyone else experience this issue? Things I've tried

-restarting both watch and my android device (galaxy tab s6)

-unpaired then repaired

-uninstalled reinstalled Connect app

The watch and device bluetooth pair no problem, but once on Connect app it won't pick up the watch. I tried bt headphones on the device and it worked, so I don't think it's an issue with the android device. Then I tried pairing and connecting the 965 to another android device (pixel 6a) and it worked and synced no problem. Went back to the first device and it still won't pick up in Connect.

This literally suddenly occurred today, never had this issue that past year I've been doing this several times a week.

  • Weirdly mine started doing this yesterday too. I tracked it down to my Apple TV making constant spurious requests to pair with the watch after it had been briefly connected in HR broadcast mode for Zwift.
