During the last night's this is what my HRV readings look like.
The data is getting inconsistent because of this. Is anyone familiar with this problem and might know of a solution?

This is what Garmin has said about the problem on the bug report thread (forums.garmin.com/.../18-15---intermittent-hrv-measurement):
"We have been investigating similar reports and have a fix coming in…
I have the same issue. Reset didn't help :-(
All,
If you are experiencing this, please respond with the following so I can add you to our investigation:
1. May I have permission to reach you via email?
2. May we have permission to view your Connect…
Hi Everyone, here is the response I got from Garmin so I would not hold off on expecting a update to fix the HRV gaps:
"Thank you so much for doing the logging! After investigating your logs among other affected devices, our engineers have determined that the HRV gaps occur when users are laying on their arms or the device. This restricts blood flow, leading to a deterioration in the OHR signal and affects HRV data. We can only encourage users to take possible necessary steps to avoid sleeping positions which may lead to this outcome. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding this consensus and conclusion of the investigation".
Thank you for sharing, 9992663.
To add to that statement, we are still working on general improvements. If anyone has any further concern, please reach out to Garmin Product Support directly.
Garmin-Sierra Somehow you try to put this problem away as sleeping position, but my last nights and especially last night show this is definitely NOT the case. This problem is now ongoing for several months and still no fix at all:
Hi Garmin-Sierra, see picture attached of last night. Problem is obviously worsening again: (even on 19.09)
It's also worsening after 19.09 to me.
I've never looked at the graph before so had to find where it was in GC but looked ok for me (also on 19.09). Perhaps your watch is faulty.
Yeah, where is this graph found (on connect web version)?
Yes GC Web under Home . HRV Status
I am using GC Beta and that changes GC Web Home page also so not sure on the non beta version
On GC App Beta you can see it also under HRV Status Glance
Ah, haven't dared switching to Connect beta yet, only on the units :-)
(that graph is available on GCM app in non beta, but not on the web as it seems then)
The GC App Beta is ok, Basically just changes the front screen layouts
